It is a daunting task to look for the best digital camera in a market where competition is stiff, even more when we will spend so much money on it. Every month, a new technology emerges. Every brand has its own selling point and features. This makes not-tech-savvy buyers wander in limbo. If we go to malls just to check out the product for ourselves, it takes a lot of energy and time. If we are practical enough, we must opt to read product reviews from the experts themselves over the Internet.
I have looked into some product review sites, but I am still not yet convinced on what to buy. A number of factors have to be considered. I am currently torn between ultra compact and travel digital cameras. I want an SLR, but it is too expensive for my budget. So for a starter, a $250.00 (or less) camera will do. Accordingly, the best ultra compact digital camera is a Sony Cybershot, and the best travel digital camera is a Canon PowerShot. Two big prominent brands, two different selling points. In cases like this, I consult the experts. After all, they know their craft and hopefully, I can learn from reading their advises. Now, the decision is not put into me after weighing all rating factors in conjunction to my needs.
