If I were in the Philippines now, I am surely celebrating for the holiday season is near to come. It means, more money in the pocket — the 13^th month pay and Christmas bonus from work. Not to mention, countless parties and long weekends. Who would not like that?

Let us change coordinates — Florida, USA. It is in the middle of the hurricane season. People are alarmed. A lot of residents are affected by the continuous blow of hurricanes, one after another. After what Hurricane Katrina did, Floridians are not seating back and taking it for granted. Weather information is very updated, and very high-tech. Hour by hour, you can check the status of the troposphere. I commend the government for such well-organized preparation. I maybe scared, but I am still loving life here.
