   It has been reported that the Honorable Karl Jayson G. Papas has been directly involved in a complex prostitution and extortion scheme involving stolen credit cards. Karl is also known as Karla as he dresses as a woman. Karl is an elected official in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. The family runs a small pharmacy for the Barangay which has a minimal income.

   Authorities were alerted when the family of very meager income was flaunting an extravagant lifestyle far and beyond any visible means.

   Apparently, Karl had been “selling” himself in an internet scam involving foreigners from various countries. The scheme became unraveled when one of the victims visited for several weeks and realized he had been robbed.

   Hello There Ting!!!

   I have been reading your blogs and somehow it helped me with a lot of questions in my mind.
   Just wanna ask something about my visa…

   I have my interview at US Embassy Manila last week April 13, 2010…during my interview, the CO had been very nice to me. He mentioned that he is glad I submitted a lot of financial informations about my fiance. That means, my fiance can always support me financially. But then, he noticed that I didnt have my fiance’s ITR for 2009. He told me that he will accept if I have 2008 ITR of my fiance even if he only accept 2009…that means, that he will justify me if I have ITR 2009 from my fiance. But since, I dont have…he gave a form stating that I must submit the ITR…and then he told me to go to #36 and wait for my name to be called which i did…the embassy personnel gave back to me my passport and the form stating of what papers I needed to submit…and also a form of AIR21….I wonder why he gave me an AIR21 form since I still need to submit the ITR…well, I left the embassy at 10am…then called my fiance that he forgot his ITR for 2009. What he did was…he called the secretary of his accountant and email me thru my email add his ITR2009 so I can submit that to the embassy the next day….April 14 of 1pm….I went back to Manila Embassy and submit the ITR 2009 of my fiance….and then again, the personnel in the embassy, after he saw my ITR 2009, he asked me to go air 21 and signed a form…but then I didnt pay inside the embassy…the air21 employee told me that I dont have to because it will be pay on delivery….my question is: AM I approved or not? Why is it that until today April 23, I still have no Visa…it has been 10 days!!! Please, help me…Am I approved?

   HELLO CARA WE HAVE SAME CASE AS MINE, AFTER I SEND THE ADDITIONAL DOC.. ITR TOO.. UNTIL NOW I DIDNT HAVE MY VISA, MY INTERVIEW WAS LAST APRIL 15 AND I SEND THE ITR OF MY FIANCEE 19TH, I DONT HAVE MY VISA UNTIL NOW…

   HELLO MISS TING, WELCOME BACK PO,, WORRY PO AKO KASI UNTIL NOW WALA PARIN VISA KO AFTER KO SINUBMIT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS.. I AM THNKINGIF I AM APPORED OR WHAT??? KASI SABI NAMAN NG CONSULAR IT WAS OK, HE JUST ASK MY FIANCEE ITR 2008-2009 AND W-2 CAUSE I DIDNT BE ABLE TO BRING T DURING MY INTERVIEW LAST APRIL 15TH SO APRIL 19TH I SEND THE ADDITIONL DOCMENT RYT AWAY TO THEM, AFTER THAT PO HINIGI SAKIN UNG PASSPORT KO TAPOS DIRECT AKO SA AIR21 AT HININGI KO UNG AKING TRACKING NUMBER… HMMMMMMMMM….

   So what does all these means? That I am appoved also? How sure? I am ahead of you but still, I dont have mine yet too…the woman that I met same day during my interview, she texted me and said she got her visa already. She is from Mindanao and I am from Luzon…why is that? Dapat mas nauna pa ako…am sad…sana, makarating na..or approved na ba ako? Anyone here who knows my answer? Thank you…

   Hi Cha and Cara,

   It takes time for the embassy to go back to your case. Since you already provided the lacking docs, do not worry. Usually, ita takes about 2-3 weeks for the embassy to update your files. In the meantime, you (or your USC petitioner) can call the embassy’s hotline to inquire if indeed they already have your 2009 ITR on file. Do not worry to much. I am sure, your case is good. It maybe delayed a bit, but you will still be coming here in the US.

   BTW, you can posts all your question in my other blog (www.rimart.us). I have been answering questions there.
